Red pine, fern sprouts and deep blue water are all good indicators of late spring in NW Wisconsin.
Yes it has finally arrived so I’ll stop grousing about winter’s never ending clutch on Minnesota. Migrating birds are here too including thrashers, warblers and rose crested grosbeak.
Anglers fishing northern Wisconsin tomorrow had better bring along an ice breaker or auger if they expect to catch any fish on area lakes. Bottle bass will no doubt be the catch of the day.
